About Centaur

What is Centaur CRM?

Centaur is an AI-native CRM for B2B sales teams. Six built-in AI agents answer inbound enquiries, qualify prospects, book meetings, keep deals up to date and prepare reps for calls, on top of a complete CRM: pipeline, forecasting, workflows, reporting, campaigns and permissions.

Who is Centaur for?

B2B sales teams of roughly 15 to 200 people who live in their inbox and calendar, get more inbound than they can answer quickly, and spend too much time updating the CRM. If you need heavy customization or a large app marketplace, a CRM like Salesforce may suit you better.

Who built Centaur?

Centaur was founded and built by a sales professional with 30 years of selling experience, to solve the problem every rep knows: too much admin, not enough time selling.

How does Centaur compare with Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive?

In most CRMs, AI is a layer you add and pay for by usage. In Centaur, the agents are how the CRM works, and they run on your own AI account at cost. See the full comparison.

The AI agents

What do the AI agents do?

The Outreach agent replies to enquiries, qualifies them and books meetings. The Opportunity agent keeps deals up to date from emails and call notes. The Meeting brief agent prepares reps for each call. The Scribe turns Teams calls into notes. The Copywriter personalises sequence emails. The Co-pilot answers questions about your pipeline.

Will the AI send emails without anyone checking?

Only if you choose that. The Outreach agent drafts replies for a person to approve by default, or can run on its own once you trust it. Every sequence email is approved by a rep before it goes, and the Opportunity agent never sends anything.

Will the AI overwrite my team's data?

No. The agents fill in and update deals from what is said in emails and calls, but never overwrite a figure a person typed in.

Which sales methodologies does it support?

You tell Centaur how your team qualifies deals, for example BANT, MEDDPIC or SPIN, and the agents qualify against it as the conversation goes.

AI costs

How is the AI charged?

You connect your own AI account, and the AI usage is billed to you by your provider, at their rate. Centaur does not resell it, mark it up or ration it with credits.

Do I need my own AI account?

Yes. During setup you add your AI provider's key, and we walk you through it. It keeps your AI costs transparent and under your control.

Setup and integrations

Which email and calendar does Centaur work with?

Microsoft 365: Outlook email, the Outlook calendar and Microsoft Teams. Google Workspace is not supported yet.

How long does setup take?

Usually a day, with no implementation fee and no consultants. A guided setup drafts a brief about your business from your website, imports your spreadsheets and sends your IT admin the Microsoft 365 steps.

Can I import my existing data?

Yes. Upload the spreadsheets you already have, and Centaur matches the columns for you, with custom fields for any that don't fit.

Does it work with Slack and Microsoft Teams?

Yes. Reps can approve a draft, respond to an escalation or add a lead from a direct message, with a daily digest to keep them in the loop.

Pricing, security and the beta

How much does Centaur cost?

Centaur is in an open beta. Get in touch for pricing; beta customers keep a lifetime discount for as long as they are with us.

Is my data safe?

Centaur runs on certified hosting and database providers, encrypts data at rest and in transit, and your AI provider does not train its models on your data. See our security page.
